Amending CRICOS approval - Adding a course
Once your organisation is approved you may apply to VETAB at any time to add courses by completing and lodging an amendment to scope application. RTOs can view the amendment application guide and forms at VETAB Online Services. School providers click here for an application form.
Please note that there is no automatic rollover of a training package qualification onto the CRICOS register. To apply, please contact the CRICOS administrator on 02 9244 5508.
Providers need to demonstrate full compliance with the AQTF and National Code standards in order to gain approval to amend their scope of approval. VETAB can not approve applications from providers with significant non compliances identified in previous audits and not yet rectified. Please refer to the Amendment Application Guide for more information.
Applicants for CRICOS approval may be required to provide a National Criminal History Record Check.
Please note a separate application is required if you are applying to add TAA40104 and/or TAA50104 qualifications. Please see the application guide.
Amending CRICOS approval - cancelling a course
Please advise VETAB of any reduction to your scope by completing the reduction of scope form. The form must come from your Chief Executive Officer. You need to check if overseas students are enrolled in the courses you wish to remove. If students are enrolled and studying in the interim, the course may be suspended.
Increasing student capacity
Your organisation may apply to increase its approved maximum number of overseas students. RTOs please click here and schools click here for an application form
Please note that you may apply to increase student capacity and add an additional site using the same form.
Variations (additions or changes) in sites
You must apply to VETAB if your organisation is intending to move premises or to add another delivery site(s).
Click here for a new/additional site application form for RTOs or for schools (Site and capacity school CRICOS). VETAB is required to inspect all premises where a provider delivers courses to overseas students.
Fees to Establish or relocate to a new site/increase in student capacity:
The following fees are payable for organisations who wish to establish or relocate to a new site, or who wish to increase their maximum number of overseas students.
