Industry experts and Pink Slips
Assistance from industry has long been valued by VETAB, with industry experts often attending audits to advise VETAB auditors on aspects of providers’ resources.
Through cooperation between industry and VETAB, some qualifications now have resource checklists available, providing all parties with clear information on what is needed for quality delivery of these qualifications.
These checklists are known by the generic name as Pink Slips. Current ones exist for hospitality, aviation and graphic pre-press, and are listed below. Others are under development in automotive, mining and other areas.
Providers wishing to deliver these qualifications must follow the process as outlined on VETAB’s website.
The Pink Slip process differs between industry areas, and the requirements for each industry area are clearly explained in the web information.
