Annual fee
As an RTO your organisation must pay an annual fee. VETAB will send you an invoice at the beginning of each calendar year. Please note there is no specific fee for renewal of registration (which happens every five years) as this is included in the annual fee.
How much you have to pay depends on whether you offer only units of competency or on the number of qualifications/courses in your scope of registration. RTOs delivering at interstate locations and those with CRICOS approval (to deliver courses to overseas students) must pay additional charges.
Fees are subject to annual review in line with the Consumer Price Index and are adjusted on or after 1 January each year. For a full list of current fees see the 2009 VETAB Fees Schedule.
