Unsuitable persons

At its 11 October 2004 meeting the VETA Board introduced a guideline that gives them the right to refuse an RTO’s registration if the provider does not have satisfactory ethical standards i.e. if the provider or a close associate of the provider is considered an ‘unsuitable person’.

It was agreed by the Board, that as a condition of registration all RTOs must notify VETAB if they or close associate becomes an ‘unsuitable person’. Please click here for a copy of the guideline.
