What to expect?
There are a number of workshops for organisations seeking to register for the first time. Prior to any audit activity, your organisation will be advised about the audit and what to expect.
You can expect the audit to be an opportunity to demonstrate how your RTO is delivering quality training and assessment. Every audit will be different according to its purpose and scope.
An audit is evidence-based. The auditor will be interested in evidence you present to demonstrate that the standards of the AQTF 2007 are being met. Auditors may also talk to your staff and students and interview other client groups. The scope of your training and assessment services also requires you to address relevant training package requirements.
You can expect auditors and audit teams to adhere to AQTF 2007 principles, specifying that audits are:
- systematic
- outcomes-focused
- evidence-based
- flexible
- focused on continuous improvement
- fair, open and transparent.
Following your audit, you will be asked to provide some feedback about the audit process. Click here to complete the online Audit Evaluation Questionnaire.
