When do audits occur?

Your organisation will be audited at the following times:

  • When you apply for initial registration
  • After your organisation has operated as an RTO for 12 months, to evaluate implementation of training and assessment services
  • When you apply to renew registration (every five years)

You may also be audited:

  • When you apply to add to your scope of registration – this will take into account the level of risk identified
  • Following a complaint to VETAB about your training and assessment services
  • As part of an industry-wide (strategic) audit.
